Let me introduce: Orphan Socks
את Eva Van Dongen הכרתי לפני יותר משש שנים במשרד האדריכלים הראשון שעבדתי בו באמסטרדם.
לאחר כשנה אני המשכתי הלאה וגם אווה שינתה קצת כיוון ופתחה חנות עיצוב אינטרנטית קטנה ומקסימה: orphan socks.
במשך השנים ניפגשנו מספר פעמים "על הדרך", בעיקר באופן וירטואלי בעקבות תחומי עניין משותפים הקשורים בעיצוב. אווה התוודעה לבלוג שלי ואני שמחתי להכיר יוזמה חדשה שלה: Simply Slow. עליה ארחיב כאן בהמשך.
בנסיעה האחרונה שלי לאמסטרדם קבענו להפגש (לא וירטואלית) בבית הקפה החדש והמקסים coffee and coconuts. היה נעים להזכר בתקופה רחוקה ומשותפת, להתעדכן בכל מה שקרה מאז וכמובן לדבר עיצוב- סיפורים, החלפת רשמים, ושיתופי פעולה אפשריים.
אני גאה להציג בפניכם את orphan socks הספונסר הראשון של Nordic Eye.
האוסף המקסים שנבחר בקפידה מורכב מפריטים יומיומיים בעיצוב פשוט עם מידה מסוימת של אלגנטיות קרירה. תערובת מאוזנת של עיצוב צנוע ונגיש שבו אומנות ומותגים קטנים יותר חשובים ממגמות חולפות ושמות גדולים.
אני אוהבת את הגישה של אוה וחושבת שהאופי של הפריטים והסטיילינג העדין והמקסים של האתר תואמים במדויק לאופי הבלוג שלי.

I met Eva Van Dongen six years ago at the first architects office where I worked in Amsterdam.
After a while I moved on and Eva established a small and charming web design shop: orphan socks.
Over the years, we met several times, especially via virtual networks related to common interests. Eva became familiar with my blog and I was happy to meet her new platform: Simply Slow. Which I will expand on this in the near future.
On my last trip to Amsterdam we arranged to meet in a charming new cafe coffee and coconuts. It was so nice to catch up and chat about design, blogs and collaborations.
